Shanna


Shanna has a background in management for 20+ years. She was born and raised in Ohio. In her free time, she enjoys attending church and spending time with her husband and two sons. Shanna joined Best Payments in 2023.

  

Veronica

​Veronica has a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources.  She is from Columbus Ohio and is a Buckeye Fan!  Veronica has 2 children, her son attends Arizona State University and her daughter is a student at Buckeye Valley High School.  In her free time, Veronica loves to spend time with her husband on the motorcycle and playing with her 4 dogs.  Veronica joined Best Payments in 2017.

Jim


Jim studied accounting at Marshall University. He was originally born in Kentucky, he has lived in Ohio for the past 30 years.  Jim enjoys spending his spare time outdoors:  hiking, canoeing, and fishing with his granddaughter. Jim joined Best Payments in 2023.

  

Lisa

Lisa serves on our Board of Directors and is a Radiology Nurse at Marion General Hospital. She studied psychology at Ohio Statue University and is a licensed social worker (LSW).  Lisa is from Marion Ohio, she is married and a mother of 4 boys. She enjoys reading, playing softball, scrapbooking and spending time with her family during her free time.  

Jonel 

​

Jonel studied Business Adminstration in Rock Hill, SC.  She has a strong insurance and Human Resource background.  She currently resides in Pennsylvania by the beautiful Appalachian Mountains.   Go Steelers!!!  Jonel's three children are grown which gives her and her husband time to travel and experience the local cultures.   When she is at home, you can find her outside playing fetch with her grand puppies and her spoiled German Shepard.   Jonel joined Best Payments in 2017.

Jeremy 

​

​Jeremy is IT consultant for Best Payments and Director of IT for Vertex Systems. Vertex systems creates, deploys and supports software solutions for organizations that serve disabled and disadvantaged people.  Jeremy manages all aspects of internal and external IT, PCI Security and HIPAA Compliance. Jeremy joined Best Payments in 2016 and Vertex Systems 2012 with over 20 years of information technology and operations management expertise. As the Director of IT, Jeremy acquires and maintains all of the organizations mission critical information systems and resources.    Jeremy joined Best Payments in 2016.  
  

Our Team

Melissa 

​

Melissa is a respected builder and leader of productive customer-focused teams and has significant experience creating and managing support operations infrastructure for software companies.  She has been in Support Operations for her entire career, managing various solutions in multiple vertical markets.  Melissa is a consultant for Best Payments and is the Vice President of Operations at Vertex Systems, Inc.   Vertex Systems creates, deploys and supports software solutions for organizations that serve disabled and disadvantaged people.  Melissa joined Best Payments in 2016.   


Sherri 

 

Sherri is the founder of the company and serves as our President.  She studied business at Tiffin University and has been in payment processing for over 27 years. Most recently, Sherri was the Director for Payment Processing at QuanComm where she managed payment processing and online giving for hundreds of church and charitable organizations.   Sherri is from Tiffin Ohio and has lived in Delaware Ohio for the past 19 years. Sherri is married and the parents of 2 sons; Matt and Andrew.  


Thomas 


Thomas has been a Direct Support Provider for over 6 years. He is currently working towards his accounting degree. In his free time you can find him on his family's chicken farm, home to 160 chickens, 5 ducks and 3 turkeys. He also enjoys watching football, volleyball and basketball. Thomas joined Best Payments in 2023.

Jamie


Jamie attended The University of Cincinnati and Columbus State. She has a background in insurance as well as child development. She has lived around Delaware county for most of her life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially outdoors. Jamie joined Best Payments in 2023.

  

Christopher 

​

Chris serves on our Board of Directors and is an Attorney for Cooke, Demers & Gleason Law Firm.  He studied International Business and Economics at Ohio Northern and received his law degree from The University of Toledo.  Christopher lives in Columbus Ohio with his wife, Betsy.   During his free time enjoys traveling, boating, outdoor activities and spending time with friends.  



McKinley


McKinley is a recent college graduate from Ohio Northern University (ONU) with a BS in mathematics and a minor in computer science. She grew up in the village of Prospect and has always enjoyed being a part of a small close-knit atmosphere, and Best Payments provides just that. McKinley enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, working out, and crocheting. She initially joined Best Payments as an intern in the summer of 2023, and came back to the team after finishing her final semester at ONU. McKinley joined Best Payments in 2024!




  

Rachael 


Rachael has lived in Delaware County most of her life. She has an insurance background, and her focus has always been on customer service.  Rachael has been married going on 26 years to her best friend, Don. They have a son who is married to thier wonderful daughter-in-love, and a daughter who is pursuing her small business dream, they make them very proud! Rachael enjoys crafting and loving on her pit-bull, Piggy and cat, Moo who were both adopted from the Delaware County Humane Society.  Rachael joined Best Payments in 2023.

  

Haley

Haley attended Ohio Dominican University earning her BS in Insurance and Risk Management with a minor in Business Administration. She was born and raised in  Ohio and enjoys all the amenities the city has to offer. Haley enjoys spending her spare time outdoors including hiking, kayaking, and traveling. Haley joined Best Payments in 2020.  

  

Joyce

​Joyce has lived in Ohio all her life.  She received a BA in Criminology from The Ohio State University.  Go Bucks!  She and her husband of more than 40 years live in Ostrander.  Her daughter lives in Dublin and has graced Joyce with four lovely grandchildren.  Her son lives in Louisville, KY, providing a wonderful place to visit.  She enjoys the clients she serves at Best Payments and finds that her Sociology background is helpful.  Joyce likes to read, do puzzles, play cards, garden, hike, travel and be social with friends.   Joyce joined Best Payments in 2015.

Daniel graduated from The Ohio State University earning his BA in Strategic Communications. Born and raised here in Central Ohio playing mainly football and baseball but loved to play any sport that required teamwork! Daniel loves helping others. One of the most important things in life to him are friends & family. If he’s not working or trying new food, you can find him playing outside or deep-sea fishing. Dan Joined Best Payments in 2023.

  

Jasmine


Jasmine attended Franklin University focusing on Business Administration and Human Resources & Marketing. Jasmine enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, who attend Buckeye Valley. Jasmine loves playing with her 3 bulldogs Tank, Milly and Lacy. Lacy is a trained service dog and brings joy to the office.  Jasmine joined Best Payments in 2022.  

  

Sophia


Sophia is a thoughtful and selfless person. She enjoys working with the community especially people in need. She is skillfully trained in customer service, management and Human resources. She loves spending time with her 2 sons and fiancé. She loves plants and crafting. Sophia joined Best Payments in 2023 and is always ready to help. 




  

Angie 


Angie has been a Direct Support Provider for over 20 plus years. She has held manager and leadership roles throughout her career.   Angie enjoys spending time with her three children and playing outside with her two German Shepherd.  She also enjoys gardening and traveling. Angie joined Best Payments in 2020.

Lacy has been a great addition to our team.  She brings comfort to our office and a smile to all faces that she meets!
